FIU topped in overtime by Seton Hall, 2-1

he Florida International Women's Soccer team fell in overtime Sunday afternoon to Seton Hall at University Park, 2-1. The loss was the second in three days for FIU.

The Golden Panthers battled to a draw in regulation, but quickly gave up the winning goal in overtime in the ninety-third minute. The goal was scored by Sophomore Midfielder Michelle Sabey and assisted by Senior Defender Jo Ann Flanagan. The Pirates' (6-8-1) first goal came off an unassisted goal from Freshman Forward Mary Ronau.

Sophomore Midfielder Janessa Taddei scored the first goal of the game, thanks to an assist from Freshman Forward Elizabeth Durozel. The goal was Taddei's second of the season.

The Golden Panthers (1-11-1) next host Arkansas-Little Rock at University Park on Friday the 18th at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Radiate 88, FIU's student radio station. The game can be heard on 88.1 FM in Miami or on the Internet at http://wrgp.fiu.edu/sports.
