April 1 : Florida International's Dieke signs with professional league
The Florida International University women's soccer team announced today the signing of former player Ifeoma Dieke to a professional contract with the Atlanta Beat of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA). Dieke became the lone invitational tryout player to make the squad, beating out several players for a spot on the Beat's roster.

November 6: FIU loses in first round of Sun Belt Tournament, 2-1 to host South Alabama
The Florida International University women's soccer team's season ended in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a 2-1 loss to South Alabama Wednesday afternoon at the Cage in Mobile, Ala.

November 5: Florida International's Nicola Bell named to All-Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer First Team
Florida International senior Nicola Bell was honored this evening at the Third Annual Women's Soccer Awards Banquet in Mobile, Ala., being named First Team All-Sun Belt Conference. The award comes on the heelsof an impressive senior campaign in which Bell led the team in points (11) and assists (5) and finished second on the team in goals (3).

October 27: Taddei's two goals not enough
The FIU women's soccer team lost on the road for the second straight contest Sunday afternoon, 4-2 to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Despite an apparent difference in talent coming into the game, the match was close throughout with North Texas clinching the win on a late goal from midfielder Alyssa Carrier in the 84th minute.

October 25: #15 Denver too much for FIU
The return of starting goalkeeper Adrienne McWilliams to the FIU line-up made little difference Friday night, as the FIU women's soccer team lost to #15 Denver 4-0 in Denver.

October 20: Golden Panthers tie Arkansas State 0-0

Unable to capitalize on several scoring opportunities, the Florida International women's soccer team tied conference foe Arkansas State 0-0 in double overtime Sunday afternoon at University Park.

October 18: FIU outlasts Ark-Little Rock 2-1 in double overtime
A Golden Goal in sudden-win overtime proved to be the difference Friday night, as the Florida International Women's Soccer team downed Arkansas-Little Rock 2-1 at University Park. The goal came off of a great individual effort by Senior Forward Nicola Bell, who slipped between two defenders and scored on a breakaway in the 106th minute.
