FIU moves into
second place at the Sun Belt Championships
IU
moves into second place after the second round at the Sun Belt
Conference Championships at the Bluewater Bay Resort in Niceville,
FL. New Mexico State remains the leader after two rounds.
Liz Stuart leads the Golden Panthers with a two-day
total of four-over par, 148. Stuart shot a second round one
under 71 to move into a tie for second.
Laura Leone is at nine over, 153, after a second round
75. Leone is in a tie for sixth place.
Two players were in a tie for 11th place. Andrea Sarratt
and Courtney Burdick were both at 11-over, 155, after
two rounds. Burdick followed her first round 78, with a 77.
Sarratt went up five strokes with an eight-over 80.
Cindy Pilat was in a tie for 44th, shooting a 85, for
a 172 (+28) total.
Play concludes tomorrow at the 5,910 yard, par 72 course.
