Women's Golf moves up to ninth place at the SBC Championships

IU moves up to ninth place after the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Niceville, FL.

The Golden Panthers moved one shot ahead of South Alabama, with a second round-team total of 333. Their two-day total of 671 is 78 shots behind leader New Mexico State.

Liz Stuart continues to lead the team firing a six-over 78 for a two-day total of 157 and a tie for 14th place. Stuart is 14 shots back of New Mexico State's Alena Sharp.

Laura Leone also posted a round under-80, recording a 79. The seven-over round put her in a tie for 18th.

Natascha Lorenz and Cindy Pilat both carded 88's. It was Lorenz's second-consecutive 88, while Pilat improved from her first-round 90.

The final round of the SBC Championships at the Bluewater Bay Resort is tomorrow.
