FIU in third place
at the Sun Belt Championships
 IU
in third place after the first round of the Sun Belt Conference
Championships at the Bluewater Bay Resort in Niceville, FL. FIU
shot a team score of 308, eight shots behind leader New Mexico
State. Arkansas-Little Rock is in second at 306.
Andrea Sarratt leads the Golden Panthers with a three-over
75, firing a one-under 35 on the second nine. Sarratt is in a
tie for fifth, two strokes behind Amanda Pettit of New
Orleans.
Liz Stuart is in a tie for 13th place with a five-over
77. Other FIU finishers were Laura Leone and Courtney
Burdick, in a tie for 15th, shooting first-round 78's (+6).
Cindy Pilat ended the day with a 15-over 87, good for
a 44th place tie.
Play continues tomorrow and concludes on Wednesday. |
