ormisha Cotton poured in 18 points as FIU downed Lynn, 73-44, in an exhibition game Monday night at Golden Panther Arena.

FIU shot 48-percent from the field and periodically used a full court press that forced the Fighting Knights into 22 turnovers.

The two squads traded leads early in the contest and were knotted in a 23-23 tie before the Golden Panthers went on a 10-1 run to close out the first period and gave them a 33-24 lead heading into intermission.

Lynn guard Alshaa Hodges downed a trio of three-pointers to help her to a team-high 16 points.
