FIU sweeps Florida Atlantic, 3-0 in Boca Raton

IU avenges an earlier loss to Florida Atlantic with a 3-0 sweep of the Owls, 30-19, 30-18 and 30-26 in Boca Raton, FL. Oksana Zablueva led the Golden Panthers with a match-high 17 kills and seven service aces.

Adriana Fundora recorded 14 kills and seven digs. Jennifer Owens also finished in double digits with 11 kills.

Betsy Moreland had 44 set assists, her second highest of the year in only three games.

Florida Atlantic (13-15) was led by Abby Miner's 14 kills and Jeana Boyle's 36 set assists.

The three-game sweep was FIU's first, since defeating South Alabama in early October.

FIU is slated to play at New Orleans Friday night in a key Sun Belt Conference match.
