Middle Tennessee uses comeback to upend Volleyball, 3-2

iddle Tennessee defeats FIU, 3-2 (29-31, 30-26, 25-30, 33-31, 15-9), at Golden Panther Arena.

Junior Adriana Fundora recorded her eighth double-double of the season, with 14 kills and a career-high 26 digs. It was her second match with 20+ digs this season.

The Golden Panthers (5-13, 1-3 Sun Belt) took a two games to one lead on the strength of Fundora's nine kills and a five to one run that put game three away.

Middle Tennessee (11-8, 2-3 Sun Belt) took a 24-21 lead in game four, but didn't come up with another service point until the deciding one for a 33-31 win.

Game five saw FIU take a 6-5 advantage, but the Lady Raiders used four kills and received four errors to take game five, 15-9.

Charlyn Ball-Llovera led the Golden Panthers with 17 kills and Elizabeth Baldwin notched 31 set assists.

Dara McLean led Middle Tennessee with 28 kills and 10 digs. The Lady Raiders also had KeKe Deckard recording a double-double, with 13 kills and 18 digs.

FIU will play Western Kentucky tomorrow night at 7pm at Golden Panther Arena.
