FIU loses its eighth consecutive match, 3-0

IU lost its sixth straight match away from Golden Panther Arena, 3-0 (30-23, 30-17, 30-21), Wednesday night to South Florida in Tampa.

The Bulls and the Golden Panthers exchanged points throughout the first game before USF pulled away with a 9-5 run. The final two games, however, were the Bulls' all the way, as they were up by as many as 12 points in the second game and eight in the third.

Adriana Fundora led the Golden Panthers with a match-high 12 kills, while

The win gives USF their second-straight victory and a 12-4 record, while FIU falls to 4-12.

FIU will next host South Alabama in a Sun Belt Conference match on Sunday at noon at Golden Panther Arena.
