oted to the second-team All-Sun Belt Conference as a shortstop…started every game at shortstop for the second straight year…finished top ten in the conference in batting (.322), hits (65), stolen bases (12) and runs scored (30)…hit .438 with two outs and .345 with runners on base…stole three bases vs. Pittsburgh (2/23)…went 6-for-12 in four games against Louisiana-Lafayette, scoring three runs.

2000 Season: Started every game at shortstop…batted .351 with runners on base and .364 with the bases loaded…reached base 42 percent of the time when batting leadoff…took over the leadoff spot in the batting order in February and held it the rest of the season…was 4-for-4 against Northwestern (2/6)…scored three runs, stole two bases and batted 2-for-4 against Fordham (2/20).

Prior to FIU: In high school, participated in volleyball, basketball and softball…as a softball player, named Most Improved Member of the team in 1996 and first-team all-league in 1998 and 1999…named to the CIF all-county team in 1999, and was the MVP of her team as a senior…her softball team was league champions in 1996, 97, 98 and finished in second place in 1999…in 1998, received an academics award in English and the Health Award in 1999… graduated from high school with honors…a member of Future Teachers of America…hobbies include water skiing and spending time with kids…daughter of John and Carol Wolter.
