1999 Season: Had a great start to her Golden Panther career playing in 56 games…on February 24 against Nova Southeastern, had three hits and two RBI while also having two putouts on the way to a 4-1 win…on March 17, had two hits, two RBI and a run scored in a win over Hartford…two days later against St. Bonaventure in a 9-0 win, had two hits, three RBI and a run.

Prior to FIU: Played volleyball, soccer and softball at Miami Springs…honorable mention all-county selection in soccer and softball…1998 softball MVP and nominee for Athlete of the Year…participated in the Miami Waves club team that finished third in the NSA National Tournament…member of the Service Club and the National Honor Society…hobbies include coaching softball for a 12-and-under team…daughter of Felix and Paula Fleitas.
