    High School: Competed in track and basketball throughout her high school career…also played a season of volleyball…an all-country track performer as a high school freshman and the team's Most Outstanding Performer the following three seasons…helped Hallandale to the 1997 regional championships…selected as the basketball team's Best Defensive Player in 2000…member of the Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and president of her high school's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America.
