College: One of the team's top returning jumpers and a possible national qualifier…conference scorer in both the long jump and triple jump…holds the FIU school record with a 50'10.50" triple jump accomplished at the Hurricane Invitational (4/23/00)…just missed all-conference honors with a 50'02.50" fourth-place triple jump at the SBC Championships…also had a season-best long jump of 22'05.25" at the league meet…his indoor-best distances in the long jump (22'05") and triple jump (45'05.75") ranked among the conference's top 10.
High School: Played basketball and football in high school…named honorable mention all-county as a football defensive safety/offensive running back…graduated among the top-15 percent of his high school class.
