College: Distance runner who could also find herself running with some of the longer relay teams…just missed conference meet scoring in the outdoor 1,500 meters…saw action in seven cross country meets last fall with a pair of 12th-place finishes…best 5k time was 19:23 at the 1998 Seminole Invitational (10/10/98) then sat out the 1999 cross country season in order to concentrate solely on track…all-conference outdoor runner as part of the third-place distance medley relay team…finished sixth in the 800m (2:17.73) with a top-10 league time… finished seventh in the conference outdoor meet in the 1,500 meters and her 800m time of 2:15.41 ranked among the conference's best…holds the school record in the indoor 800m (2:14.16) set at the 1999 NationsBank Invitational…earned all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the 800m at the 1998 Trans America Athletic Conference meet.
High School: All-star and All-Palm Beach County performer in cross country…state champ in the 800 meters (1996-97)…three-time track team MVP…finished third at the 1998 AAU Track & Field Nationals in that same event.
