College: One of the top returning runners who has excelled in cross country and in the middle distances…best cross country runner with four top-5 finishes last fall and just missed all-conference recognition with an 11th-place showing at the SBC meet…finished in second place two weeks in a row at the FIU Invitational (9/15/00) and the Jacksonville Track Club Invitational (9/22/00)…one of two FIU participants at the Walt Disney Word Classic (10/7/00) finishing 16th out of 207 runners from around the eastern seaboard…won the Miami dual meet (9/18/99) and posted her best collegiate 5k time of 18:06 at the 1999 Auburn Invitational…all-conference last year in both indoor and outdoor track…SBC outdoor 800-meter champion with a meet record 2:09.55…finished third in the indoor mile and fourth in the 800m…holds the FIU outdoor record for the 800m (2:08.27)…member of the Commissioner's List and SBC Academic Honor Roll…Trans America Athletic Conference Academic all-star in 1997-98.
