Mills and Muniz lead the Golden
Panthers at the FIU Invitational
 couple
of records were either tied or broken in FIU's dual meet with
UM on Saturday afternoon at FIU Stadium.
Senior Jarod Mills broke the shot put record by clearing
48-feet-1 inch (14.68m) to top the previous mark of 45-feet-10.75
inches held by John Blackwell.
Another freshman Yandeil Muniz tied the men's high
jump mark held by Richard Curry. Muniz jumped 6-feet-7 inches
to tie the record.
The Golden Panthers will now head to the Penn Relays for their
next meet on Thursday.
