Wilson qualifies for the NCAA Indoor Championship

photo by Geoff Anderson Senior Vronique Wilson ran a time of 23.65 in the 200-meter dash at the Last Chance Meet in Ames, IA to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championship. Wilson will head to Fayetteville, AR for the preliminaries on March 14 and 15.

The senior ran a time of 23.65 on March 8 at the Last Chance Meet in Ames, IA to qualify. Wilson improved her previous best time of 24.01 at the Armory Invitational.

This is the second consecutive year Wilson qualified for the Indoor Championships. Last season, the Ft. Lauderdale native ran a 23.81 in the preliminaries to finish 12th. The top-eight finishers make the finals.
