Men's Soccer plays to scoreless
tie with Howard
he Florida International men's soccer
team remained unbeaten for the eighth-straight game, playing
to a 0-0 tie with Howard in Atlantic Soccer Conference action
at Greene Stadium in Washington.
FIU goalkeeper Roy Rosenberg recorded his third consecutive shutout,
making a pair of saves to hold off the Bison. Rosenberg has now
gone 373 minutes without allowing a goal.
It was the first tie of the season
for both teams as FIU moves to 7-4-1, 2-0-1 ASC, and Howard goes
to 3-8-1, 0-2-1 ASC.
The Golden Panthers will be back
at home on Sunday, Oct. 27, as they host South Florida at 1:00
p.m. at University Park. |
