AS A FRESHMAN (1997-98): Finished the season as a member of the Trans America Athletic Conference All-Newcomer and All-Tournament teams his 12.0 ppg ranked second on the squad first freshman since 1990 to score more than 300 points in a season second in the TAAC with 66 steals, one short of the FIU record 135 assists was the fifth highest in the league and set a new school record one of only six players in the history of the program with at least 100 assists in a season TAAC Player of the Week (2/3) tallied his season-high 12 assists vs. Troy State (2/21) set a school mark with 5-of-5 three-point shooting against Georgia State (1/8).
