Men's Basketball participating
in the Halloween Day Activities at Westland Mall
he
Golden Panthers men's basketball team will entertain children
at the Tampico Tales and Treats for Halloween on Thursday,
October 31, at 5:00 p.m. The event will take place at Westland
Mall.
Members of the FIU basketball team will entertain the children
with ghost stories from 4-6pm, thus crowning four days of Tampico-sponsored
Halloween activities and product sampling at the mall, located
at 1675 West 49th Street in Hialeah.
"Tampico is very proud to host this special appearance
by the FIU basketball team during our Halloween activities in
the predominately Hispanic neighborhood," said Richard
Ross, Tampico Brand Director.
Besides the team's presence from 5-7 p.m., professional storytellers
will also be in the Tampico activity area throughout the
day. Parents and children who stop by to hear their favorite
ghost and goblin stories will receive a free Tampico coloring
book, as well as trick-or-treat bags with free samples of Tampico
Fruit Punches.
The Golden Panthers open the season hosting Iona, Libscomb
and Morris Brown in the FIU Tip-Off Classic at Golden Panther
Arena on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23-24. |
