Single-game Football tickets
go on sale

tickets for all seven 2002 Florida International University home
football games go on sale to the public tomorrow, Thursday, Aug.
1.
Ticket prices for the sidelines are $20.00 per ticket while
goal-line tickets cost $15.00. There are two end-zone tickets
with single seats costing $8.00 each and the Family Fun Zone,
allowing admission to two adults and three children under 18,
selling for $30.00 per game. Groups of 20-or-more received a
$2.00 per ticket discount.
Season ticket packages also remain on sale with prices ranging
from $125.00 for a reserved sideline seat, to $54.00 for end-zone
reserved and $180.00 for the Family Fun Zone.
The FIU Community Stadium, located on the University Park
Campus, recently underwent expansion from 7,000 to 17,000 seats
for the upcoming season. There will be plenty of free and secured
parking surrounding the stadium.
The Golden Panthers open their first year of football competition
on Thursday, Aug. 29 against Saint Peter's College of New Jersey.
Head coach Don Strock and his team report to campus on
Thursday, Aug. 8 with the squad's first formal workouts scheduled
for Monday, Aug. 12.

Did You Know
The Golden Panthers will play home games in their 17,000-seat
on-campus FIU Community Stadium. The next closest intercollegiate
football program in the state of Florida to play on campus is
the University of Florida in Gainesville.
