2002: Expected to get extensive playing time at catcher, but was limited to just seven games and four starts because of injuries…made the most of his few opportunities, batting .478 with two home runs and nine RBI in 23 at-bats…slugging percentage was .826 and held a perfect fielding percentage…went 5-for-6 with five RBI, a double, a home run and two runs scored against St. Francis (2/16)…was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI against Wagner (3/9).

2001: Appeared in 36 games, starting 29 games behind the plate…had a six-game hitting streak from March 13-30 over which time he went 9-for-23…was 2-for-6 with three RBI, two runs scored and one home run against New Orleans (4/13) …against Notre Dame (5/27) in the NCAA South Bend Regional went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two doubles…threw out six of 14 would-be baserunners.

Prior to FIU: Finished junior college playing career for head coach Clint Myers…ended with a .429 BA, 13 HR, and 58 RBI at Central Arizona…selected 2000 all-conference first team and all-region second team…Central Arizona CC was conference champs in 1999 and 2000…junior and senior years in high school, hit .500 with 12 HR.
