There will be four public lectures this semester. They are held about once a month at
the South Campus, room CP 145. The dates and times for this semester are as follows:

To get credit for attending one of these hour long lectures, you must ask your TA for
a public lecture extra credit slip beforehand during the week of the talk. At the lecture,
you must get the slip signed by the lab manager, your TA, an astronomy faculty member, or the speaker
(if no one else is available). You will not receive extra credit points unless you have this
slip. Attending one lecture earns you 5 pts. You may attend all lectures for maximum points.
