| The
Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas of the Universidad Nacional
Autónoma de México (UNAM) offers scholarships to foreign
students who wish to undertake graduate studies in the history of
Mexican art at the Facultad de Filosofia y Letras of the UNAM. Other
funds for visiting professors or postdoc-toral researchers may be
offered by CONACYT (National Science Foundation). These fellows are
assigned to the Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas, which
specializes in Mexican art and architecture from the pre-Colum-bian
period to the modern era. Scholars may use the slide collection, photographic
archives, and library and consult with specialists at the Instituto. |
