DEFINITION OF TEACHING

To impart and cultivate knowledge or skill in a specific subject.

DEFINITION OF RESEARCH, SCHOLARSHIP AND CREATIVE ACTIVITY

The systematic investigation leading to the invention, reinterpretation or innovative application of knowledge and technique, and the public presentation of this original work for critique by one's professional peers.

DEFINITION OF SERVICE

To advance the mission of the University by using one's professional expertise and technical skills to address needs of the community, the university, one's profession, or the greater society.
