Biophysics Group

Research Interest:

The biophysics theory group has active programs investigating several topics fundamental and applied interest. These include the non-linear dynamics of protein folding, protein-protein interactions, ligand biding to home proteins, and laser effects on biological tissue including the retina. The work uses theoretical techniques of condensed matter physics and amorphous physics, mathematical techniques of non-linear dynamics, along with computer modeling to understand these crucially important biological process.
