Experimental Particle Physics

Florida International University, a top urban public research university located in Miami and a part of the State University System of Florida, has an opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Elementary Particle Physics to begin August, 2007.

The successful candidate will join the Nuclear/Particle Physics group, which has recently joined the CMS experiment at the LHC. Currently the department has theoretical and experimental groups in astronomy, optical, biophysics, medium energy nuclear and particle, quantum-optics and solid state physics.

Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, including a list of refereed papers published and submitted, a brief description of research expertise, and arrange to have three letters of reference sent to the CMS Search Committee, Department of Physics, Florida International University, University Park, Miami, FL 33199.
