In its commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for the University community, FIU established the Medical Surveillance and Occupational Monitoring Program (MSP). This program is intended to assure that employees and students are afforded the opportunity to identify potentially hazardous exposures, practices, and procedures which could compromise their health.

The MSP is fully endorsed by the FIU administration and in full compliance with federal regulations and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommendations.
