(1996 Summer Institute); "Latin American Women and Art" (1996 Summer
Institute); "Issues in Hearing Impairment;" and "Coaching Students with
Disabilities." "The African" was offered as a distance learning course;
"Americas" was offered via cable TV to selected Dade County Public School
Adult Centers. There are plans to establish other distance learning sites in
Hialeah, Liberty City, Overtown, Little Russia, Sweetwater and Homestead.
