Coach Gwydir on Lindsay: “Lindsay is a tremendous infielder. She really dug us out of some holes last year by playing excellent defense at second base when we were struggling at that position. This season, I think she’ll see time at shortstop and second base. It is a luxury to have someone as talented as her in a support role in the infield. If she can improve her hitting, she’s going to put herself right in the mix.” 2002: Saw action in 63 contests, starting 50…Batted .194 (27-for-139) with four doubles and nine RBI…Knocked in four runs while going 2-for-3 vs. New Mexico State (4/14)…Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI vs. Connecticut (3/2)…Batted 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI against Middle Tennessee (4/7). High School: Selected first-team all-league her junior and senior years…Named to the Walnut High School Hall of Fame…Named Mustangs’ best offensive player…Also participated in marching band…Named to Dean’s List and honor roll.
