April 15: Nealer named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week for the second time
Freshman pitcher Amanda Nealer was named the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 8 to 15. In two appearances, Nealer allowed no runs and two hits. (more)

April 14: FIU takes SBC doubleheader vs. NMSU
Pitching dominated as FIU swept its Sun Belt Conference home softball doubleheader against New Mexico State, Sunday, 10-3 and 6-0. (more)

April 13: Softball splits a pair with New Mexico State
FIU picked up 12 hits in the 9-1 win over New Mexico State to open the four game series. The Aggies would come back to win the second game, 3-2, on a three-run homer by Tiffany Ruiz. (more)

April 7: Softball takes the four-game series over Middle Tennessee
FIU splits a doubleheader with Middle Tennessee to take the first Sun Belt Conference series of the season, 3-6, 1-0. The teams went 10 innings to decided the second game. (more)
