njoyed tremendous improvement as a distance runner…top 10,000m and cross country runner last year…competed in all seven cross country meets last fall, posting a personal best 8k time of 25:50 at the Walt Disney World Classic (10/6) that ranked tied for the 15th fastest time in school history…posted three top-10 finishes including a fourth-place showing at the FIU Invitational (9/29) and a fifth-place finish at the Greentree Invitational (10/12)…ran outdoors in the 1,500m, 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m posting top team bests in the latter two…just missed scoring in the 10,000m at the Sun Belt Conference Championships…had four top-10 finishes as a junior in cross country, including a sixth-place showing among 67 harriers at the Jacksonville Invitational (9/22/00)…ran two years of high school cross country and three of track, earning varsity letters each year…second-team all-county as a senior…led the Sunset cross country team to an undefeated 1997 season (13-0) and a second-place finish in the GMAC's, district and regional meets and 12th at the state championships.
