alked onto the team last year…trained hard over the summer and got herself in tremendous shape…hopes to be a permanent fixture on the travel squad and coaches hope she can reach a level of being able to score points in the conference meet running the 100 and 200m dashes…put up outdoor season-best times of 12.43 in the 100m, 25.67 in the 200m and 1:01.66 in the 400m dashes…her indoor best time of 7.97 at the Ohio State Invitational (2/17) in the 60-meter dash was tied as the second-fastest team time last season…selected the Most Athletic Female in high school…also received the Don Shula Female Athletic Award, National Student Award (from the U.S. Army) and Ford's Salute to Education (athletics)…ran track and field and cross country and played volleyball and basketball for the T-Breads…voted Most Improved Player in basketball and twice named Team Leader in track…received three AAU bronze medals in 1998 at Disney's Wide World of Sports…member of the National Honor Society, Senior Honor Seminar and was her senior class and T.A.S.K. president.
