 xpected
to be one of the top cross country runners last fall, but a stress
fracture limited her effectiveness and will force her to miss
the upcoming track seasons…managed to get back in time for
the conference meet, but because of the injury, her performance
was not up to expectations…opened the season with a 6k time
of 21:04 at the UCF Invitational (9/9) but following the injury,
could manage only a 27:06 at the conference meet (10/27)…recorded
her personal-best 5k time of 21:19 at the UCF Invitational (9/8/00)
as a sophomore…selected as Sunset's Outstanding Senior and
was voted second-team all-conference as a prep junior…cross
country state qualifier as a junior and a senior…part of
Sunset's district championship cross country squad…high
school Honor Roll student.
