of seven meets last fall, posting a career-best 26:39 time in
the 8k Walt Disney World Classic (10/6)…finished ninth at
the Greentree Invitational (10/12) the following week…will
be looked upon this season to compete in the 10,000 meters outdoors…walked
on to the FIU team after winning five varsity letters in soccer,
cross country, basketball, baseball and track at Holy Cross…All-Miami-Dade
County harrier who finished fourth at the 1997 state cross country
meet…voted his high school's Athlete of the Year as a sophomore
and junior.
