Make new friends by hosting Dinner with 12 Strangers

The Alumni Association needs YOU to expand its successful Dinner with 12 Strangers series! A phenomenon sweeping universities across the country, Dinner with 12 Strangers offers an opportunity for students, alumni and faculty/administrators to get together and share ideas over dinner.

The dinners take place wherever the host wishes – in his or her home or in a restaurant. The menu is also up to the host – hamburgers and hot dogs on the backyard barbecue or dinner at Joe’s. The idea behind the dinners is to facilitate synergy among members of the university community, regardless of age, occupation or station in life.

The next Dinner with 12 Strangers is being hosted by FIU Alumni Association Immediate Past President Gayle Bainbridge. Other Alumni Association board members are planning on attending, as well as Carlos Hernandez, Stewart Appelrouth and Bruce Hauptli. One thing is for sure – a good time will be had by all.

If you’re interested in hosting a Dinner with 12 Strangers, please contact Sean Kramer at 305-348-2238 or send him an email to kramers@fiu.edu or register online at http://www.fiucrew.com/strangers_form.php.
