Torch Awards Coming This November

One of the signature events of the Alumni Association, the 2004 Torch Awards Gala, will be held on Sat., Nov. 6, at the Doral Resort & Spa.

Named after the Torch of Knowledge, Service and Understanding, the Torch Awards honor individuals who have had a beneficial impact on their profession and the community. The alumni and faculty honored each year represent FIU’s “torch bearers” – leaders who impart knowledge and serve as a source of inspiration.

Always a popular event, this year’s ceremony will be a “gala” evening that promises to be the most fun Torch Awards yet!
