Who knew networking could be so much fun?

Two of the Alumni Association's most popular events - the golf tournament and the fishing tournament - promise to be bigger and better than ever in 2005. If you haven't already taken note of the dates, take this opportunity to mark your calendars and schedule some quality time on the links and on the ocean:

Sat., May 21 - FIU Golf Tournament

Sat., June 18 - FIU Alumni Association Fishing Tournament

 

2005 FIU Golf Tournamnet: Tame the Blue Monster!

The FIU Golf Tournament, at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa, will begin at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast and registration. The shotgun start will be at 8 a.m. Doral Spa discounts for the day of the tournament will be available for spouses and guests of the players.

The FIU Alumni Association Fishing Tournament will be held at the Miami Beach Marina. The tournament begins at 7 a.m. and weigh-in will be at 4 p.m. at the marina. There will also be a dock party at Monte's Raw Bar in South Beach. Cash and prizes worth $5,000 will be awarded.
