New Engineering
Programs introduced at FIU Broward-Pines Center
The College of Engineering (COE) has added
two new programs effective this fall at the FIU Broward-Pines
Center: a Master of Science
in Technology Management (Information Technology Specialization)
and a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Networking (Systems
and Networks Track), degrees that are part of COE’s Executive
Engineering Education program.
The master’s in Technology Management
is designed for individuals who wish to pursue an accelerated
graduate degree that combines
Information Technology and Business disciplines. Classes begin
on Oct. 18 and will take place on Saturdays only; the entire program
will be completed in 12 months.
The master’s in Telecommunications
and Networking is designed for individuals who wish to pursue
an accelerated graduate degree
that features a blend of telecommunications and networking courses
combined with courses on software, engineering, management, policy
and domestic and international telecommunications issues. Classes
begin on Oct. 18 and will take place on Saturdays only; the entire
program will be completed in 10 months.
