In accordance with section 240.4015, Florida Statutes, public community colleges and universities are required to award credit for CLEP exams.  The Articulation Coordinating Committee (ACC) developed guidelines for post-secondary institutions that were adopted on November 14, 2001, and have since been revised (August 2006).  The chart below contains a list of CLEP exams and courses/credits awarded by FIU in keeping with ACC guidelines.  Students should consult with an advisor before registering for CLEP.  Up to 45 total credit-by-exam credits may be awarded.  http://www.collegeboard.com/highered/clep
