Brief Description of the Program:

The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) is an accelerated graduate-level program in which successful students can earn their degree in only one year. It provides a demanding weekend program for professionals to strengthen and deepen their expertise in financial decision-making so they can assume greater levels of responsibility in their firms. Students can start in August or January.

The program content provides participants a broad and deep understanding of domestic and global finance as well as a firm grasp of the latest financial concepts, analytical techniques, and "best practices" in the field. It looks at the dynamic nature of the financial and economic marketplaces and the challenges these rapidly changing arenas pose to financial practitioners. Students in the program become increasingly proficient in understanding and working within the evolving institutional structure of domestic and international financial markets. They learn how to become better financial strategists and to sharpen their technical and analytical skills, including the use of financial software.

The curriculum includes the latest financial computer software and helps prepare students for Level I of the Chartered Financial exam (CFA).
