Brief Description of the Program:

The Evening Master of Business Administration (EVEMBA) program is designed to give you a professional management education and to prepare you for advancement in your business career. It provides you with a comprehensive understanding of business processes, of strategic management, and of customer-driven organizations. The curriculum is framed in the context of today's technology-enabled and global economic environment.

Since classes meet in the evening, it is an especially valuable program if you work full time or are otherwise committed during the day-time hours.

Application Requirements:

To be eligible for admission to a Master’s degree program in the College of Business Administration, students must:
  • Meet the general University requirements for admission to a graduate degree program as described in the Graduate Catalog.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Show high promise of success in graduate studies, as determined by the faculty, based upon a combination of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score and their undergraduate, upper-division coursework grade point average (GPA).
  • Be in good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities. In general, applicants are expected to have at least two years of professional work experience following the awarding of the Bachelor's degree. However, applicants with limited work experience may be considered if they have excellent academic records and GMAT/GRE score.
Admission decisions are made on an individual basis.

Additional Requirements for International Students:
  • If applicant is an international student whose native language is not English, he or she must have a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 213 on the computer-based TOEFL, or an equivalent score on a comparable examination.
