Application Requirements:
Applicants are considered for admission to the Executive MBA program on
the basis of their individual applications and personal interviews.
- Applicants normally should have eight or more
years of organizational experience, including at least five in a
managerial or professional position.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
institution is required for admission.
- Candidates will be expected to take the
Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) prior to admission to the
program. The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score can be substituted for
the GMAT score.
- Applicants may request a waiver of the GMAT/GRE
requirement if their upper-division, undergraduate grade point average
is greater than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or, if they have earned a graduate
degree from a fully-accredited college or univeristy.
In selecting participants, the Admissions Committee also considers the
following:
- Demonstrated managerial experience and
effectiveness
- Potential for significant growth
- Ability to do graduate work in business
- Ability to contribute to the study team and to
class participation
- Maturity and motivation
- Ability and willingness to make a twenty-one
month commitment
- Recommendation letters
