2007 Crime Statistics

In 1990, President George Bush signed into law the "Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act.", also cited as the "Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990. This act requires all post-secondary institutions to prepare, publish and distribute certain information regarding campus crimes and policies relating to security. In 1998 this act was renamed the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act."

At Florida International University, campus crime and security policy information may be obtained by contacting the University Police Department (UPD) at (305)348-2623 or at this web site.
