Adriana Gaviria appeared
in local productions of The Art of Dining and Eleemosynary before completing
the M.F.A. Acting Program at Yale School of Drama where she appeared
in many productions including the world premiere of Len Jenkin’s adaptation
of Aristophanes’ The Birds with Yale Repertory Theatre.
Adriana is currently playing Juliet at the Alabama
Shakespeare Festival's Romeo and Juliet. |
Agnes
Tsangaridou was accepted into the M.F. A. in Acting program at Brandies
University where she performed in The Three Sisters.
Agnes appeared as Marina in Pericles at the
Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and
Chrysothemis
in Electra at the Hartford Stage.

Ahymara Gonzales
worked as a stage manager with New Theatre while pursuing a graduate
degree in Entertainment Production at FIU.
Thereafter she was Production Manager at the Broward
Center for the Performing Arts. Currently, Ahymara works in Theatre
Administration at the New World School of the Arts. |
Alissa Rodriguez attends
MFA Acting program at Rutgers University, and has appeared in Six
Women Dancing Toward Happiness.

Ana Maria Lagasca starred
in an original drama for PBS. She has also
been seen in ER, Numb3rs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X
Files. |
Andy Señor
has appeared as Angel in the touring London and Broadway productions of the
hit Broadway musical Rent. He has also appeared in film and on
television.

Barbara Safille earned her
Ph.D. at FIU and is currently working in Latin American and Iberian Studies at
Yale University. |
Boris Kievsky attended
the Mountview Conservatory in London, moved to NYC, assistant directed
with the Ensemble Studio Theatre, designed lights for American Theatre
for Actors, directed a production of John Patrick Shanley’s The Dreamer
Examines His Pillow for Manhattan Theatre Source, and recently acted
in a production of MacBeth. Recent film
credits include Wizards of Waverly Place and Brother's War.
Recent TV credits include House M.D., Scrubs and Charmed. |
Chantal JeanPierre
received her M.F.A. in Acting from Rutgers University, has worked with
the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, vocal coached an off-Broadway musical
with Leslie Uggams, and teaches at several prominent college theatre programs.
She recently appeared as Goneril in the Folger Theatre's production of King
Lear with Andre De Shields.

Christina Burchard
and Melissa Almaguer, in consecutive years, were named best actress
by the Sun Post for their work in The Tempest and The Shape of Things.
Christina is currently a Film Editor and Melissa is
the Co-Founder of the Playground Theatre. |
Claudia LaTorre appeared
in Far East and Wit with New Theatre, and recently formed her own theatre
company. Claudia is currently working
at Peak Organization in New York |

Colleen (Crouch) Post appeared
in Blood Moon with Mosaic Theatre, and also acquired her MBA at FIU.
Colleen is the founding Associate Director of FIU's
Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center; where her knowledge an expertise is heavily
utilized by students and professionals. |
Danny Pino graduated
from the M.F.A. Acting program at NYU, and has worked with the Texas Shakespeare
Festival, New York Public Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park, played opposite
Madonna in the London production of Up for Grabs and has starred in the
television productions of Men, Women and Dogs, The Shield and as
Ricky Ricardo in the made for TV movie, Lucy. He is a regular
on the CBS series Cold Case produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

David Perez-Ribada
has performed in many South Florida productions including Audiovideo, Blue Surge
and Tracers with Juggerknot Theatre, Durang, Durang with Mosaic
Theatre, and Hamlet,
Tom Walker, Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams, and
world premiere of Pulitzer-prize-winning Anna in the Tropics with
New Theatre.
David also coaches acting for children and adults at
the Roxy Performing Arts Center |
Edwidge DeJean
worked as an Assistant Stage Manager and Stage Manager for the Miami City
Ballet, before moving to NYC to pursue a singing career.

Heather Sligar appeared
in a production of How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel at the Stonzek
Studio Theatre, and has worked at Actor’s Playhouse and Miami Shores Theatre.
She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the
University of West Florida. |
Ivania Sotomayor
and Carmen Cimadevilla appeared in La Noche de los Asesinos with
El Circulo Multicultural Stage.

Jennifer Smith founded
the 3rd Street Black Box Theatre, and toured with a Latin theatre company
before receiving her M.F.A. from the Acting program at the University
of California in San Diego where she has appeared at the LaJolla Playhouse
in Blood Wedding. She is currently on the Visiting Faculty line at
FIU Theatre.

Jenny Kelchner has
worked with several theatres including City Stage. Her directing credits
include A Way, produced by Community AIDS Resource, Inc., The Lady from
Havana with Dreamers Theatre, and Lansford Wilson’s Talley’s Folley in
which she directed her former professors at FIU Theatre.

Jimmy Allen
attended American Conservatory and is now an
entertainer in New York City. Jimmy is part of the Apprentice Program at
The Barrow Group Theatre in New York City and will air as a Chicago Cop on the
daytime soap All My Children on April 8, 2008. |
Joseph Haj graduated
from the Actor training Program at the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill, and has had a long theatre career including working with Joanne Akiltis at
The Guthrie. He is a director and actor based in Los Angeles, CA. His
directing credits include The Roads That Lead Here by Lee Blessing
for the 2003 Humana Festival; Pericles with the Clarence Brown Theatre
Company in Knoxville, TN, and a recent workshop of Twelfth Night with
Theatre for a New Audience in New York, NY. Mr. Haj also produced and
directed We Few, a forthcoming documentary chronicling his experience
directing Henry V with maximum-security inmates at the California State Prison
in Los Angeles County. He is the Producing
Artistic Director of the Playmakers Theatre |
Julian Acosta (Jose
Lopez) graduated from the M.F.A. Acting program at Rutgers University, toured with
the Guthrie Theatre’s production of A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream,
and has appeared in the TV series The Job, Scrubs, The West Wing, Entourage
and a recurring role on Dirt. |
Laverne (Lewis)
Cuzzocrea has worked as stage manager, with many theatres including Dreamers Theatre,
Juggerknot Theatre, and FIU THEATRE. A few of Laverne's performance credits include: Foka in The Just Assassins
with Dreamers Theatre, La Mama in Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery with
The
M Ensemble and the title role in Mariah Brown with the Crystal Parrot
Players; which she will perform in Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas in
November of 2008. Laverne is currently the Marketing
Manager for FIU Theatre. |
Lesley
(Sorzano) Ulloa appeared in On the Verge at New Theatre. She is
currently a Residential Area Council Leader in real estate for the Doral region
of South Florida. |
Lorraine Lopez,
now residing in Los Angeles, appeared in a touring production of A Chorus
Line.

for Disney as a Stage Manager.

Madeline Marchante
has worked with the Coconut Grove Playhouse, and the Telemundo TV Network.
She is co-owner of Showcase for Kids children's

Magdalena Swedkowicz
received her graduate degree in Entertainment Production from FIU, and
worked as a Production Events Coordinator for Universal Studios in Orlando
before returning to her native Poland to work as a Production Manager in the
Warsaw Area.

Marina Pareja served
as Costumer and Designer for FIU Theatre, while working professionally
for New Theatre, and the Mount Holyoke Summer Theatre. Marina attended graduate school in Scotland
and is now a Costumer and Adjunct Faculty Member for FIU Theatre.

Marlene Marcos has
appeared in national commercials and in the Off-Broadway Musical-Comedy
Sexotheque and in Dreamers Theatre’s production of The Lady from Havana.

Meshaun Arnold has
appeared with M Ensemble in Medal of Honor Rag, with Mosaic Theatre
in the award winning Cobb, and the regional premiere of the Pulitzer-prize-winning
Top Dog/Under Dog. Meshaun is
currently the Drama teacher at Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School.
Look out for Meshaun this Summer 2008 in New Theatre's production of Julius Caesar. |
Michelle Cumming
attended the M.F.A. Design Program at Penn State, has been the resident
scenic designer at New Theatre, and is teaching drama and art at Waldorf
International School.

her PhD in Children’s Theatre from the University of Arizona.

Mikala Moss spent
a year traveling the world as Miss Bahamas 1999 before moving to London
to study at the Mountview Theatre Conservatory.
Mikala currently works for the Bahamas Film and
Television Commission and currently overseas its U.S. East Coast Division in New
York City. |
Nelson Anido received
his M.F.A. in Design from USC where he designed the sets for the musical
Pippin.

Nenni Delmestre worked
with Jose Ferrer at the Coconut Grove Playhouse. After receiving her BFA
from FIU Theatre she returned to her native Croatia where she has directed
more than 17 productions with the National Theatre.

Nicole Lakowitz and
Sasha Weisfeld
appeared in the world premiere of decay with Bubble
Theatre, written by Sasha, and directed by Nicole.
Sasha is currently in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and
has an album out called Mussel. |
Nicole
(Santaella) Quintana has
served as assistant scenic designer for the Mount Holyoke Summer Theatre
and designed sets for their children’s shows. She worked at the resident
designer for Juggerknot Theatre, and teaches high school drama for
Dade County Public Schools.

Odell Rivas
wrote and directed Six Women Dancing Toward Happiness, has appeared in Coconut
Grove Playhouse’s Never, Nothin’ Again No More, as well as Othello,
Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and King Lear with
New
Theatre. He has also worked with the Latino Ensemble, Actor’s Playhouse,
and the Bridge Theatre. Odell studied with the American
Conservatory Theatre.

Oscar
(Oldie) McFarlane is
a graduate of the M.F.A. Professional Actor Training Program at UCLA and
is currently living and working in Los Angeles. He appeared at the National
Black Festival in North Carolina. He has had guest appearances on America’s
Most Wanted and Judging Amy.

Ozzie Quintana is
a founding member and artistic director of the improv comedy group Impromedy
and it’s producing organization Groove Theatre. He has worked as the
resident sound designer for Actor’s Playhouse, and
teaches high school drama for
Dade County Public Schools.

Paolo Andino attended
the MFA Acting program at UMKC, and is now living and working in NYC. He
has
been featured in Suite in Two Keys, presented off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and has had appearances with the
Utah Shakespeare Festival,
Charlotte Repertory Theatre and Unicorn Theatre. He has also worked in
New York City with Rene Bush on several productions at the Spanish Repertory
Theatre. He can currently be seen on the TV
series The Big Gay Sketch Show on the Logo Network. |
Phillip Aleman is
working as a theatrical press agent in NYC and has worked on such shows
as Stomp and The Full Monty.
Phillip continues to work on the national tours of
The Producers - the new Mel Brooks Musical, and Wicked. |
Pia Whited has worked
as a costume designer for the Alliance Theatre Company in Atlanta.

Rafael de Oliveira
graduated from the M.F.A. Acting Program at Rutgers University, toured with
the Guthrie Theatre’s production of A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.
and performed in frag and Blue Surge with Juggerknot Theatre. He also taught acting,
voice and movement for FIU Theatre.
Mr. Oliveira is currently engaged in his acting
career in Los Angeles. |
Robert Maxwell
has appeared in Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams with New Theatre,
A Gaggle
of Saints with Juggerknot Theatre. He also directed South of Tomorrow for
Juggerknot Theatre. Robert is
currently pursuing a film career in Los Angeles. |
Tamala Horbianski
graduated from the M.F.A. Acting Program at UCSD where she has appeared
in The Blue Room, Arcadia, and Eleemosynary. She recently appeared
on the NBC series Ed.
