Learning and Personal Development Preparing for their role as MUN delegates, students study their assigned country's social, political and economic structures and foreign policy position on the simulation topics. At the New York conference delegates endeavor to resolve international conflicts through peaceful resolution and to remedy global problems concerning the environment, population, disease, security, and human rights issues. From the simulation experience students learn about other countries and peoples, develop an understanding of views that may differ from their own and acquire research, social and personal skills necessary to be effective in school, career or work.
