Undergraduate Advising Page

Advice for undergraduate majors in geography and international relations.

The first, and most important, advice the International Relations Department can give all of its undergraduate majors is to meet regularly with a faculty advisor and remember, each time you do so, to bring an up-to-date copy of your SASS Report. Click here for frequently asked questions.

Your SASS Report (also called a "degree audit") summarizes your progress towards completing your undergraduate degree. It can be found online using the new statewide FACTS System. From the main FACTS website, click on "Degree Audits," and then on "Institutional Degree Audit." Select FIU as your home institution and enter the other required information. Other important information can be found online using FIU's Student Information Services (SIS) website. The SIS website allows you to view your student records, your current schedule, the university course schedule and a variety of other useful information.
