[W]e need to focus not only on our goals for students but also on the ways in which faculty learn to use new technologies. We know that learning is most powerful when it is incremental, recursive, and iterative. People learn best when they reflect on their learning and share that reflection with their peers.

What is the iNet Initiative?

The iNet Initiative is a three-year proposal to increase the integration of information technology, beginning with lower-division courses, at Florida International University. Through the iNet Summer Institute, fifty faculty will receive training that will enable them to incorporate Web-enhanced teaching and learning in their classes.
