SPORTS MANAGEMENT UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
|
The
undergraduate sports management track prepares individuals
for managerial positions in the sports related fields. The
core program emphasizes the physiological and psychological
aspects of sport and the development of managerial and administrative
skills. Program electives allow students to pursue a specialization
in an area of interest.
Lower Division Preparation:
It is recommended that students complete introductory accounting
and management courses, as well as, a variety of sports
skill classes.
To qualify for admission into the program, students must
meet all published admission requirements which include:
program prerequisites, General Education/Gordon Rule, GPA,
ACT/ACT, and CLAST. Students who do not meet the College
admission requirements may request a formal review by filing
for a waiver. Contact the office of Student Services in
ZEB 221 for information.
Note: The Sport Management Track is under review and changes
to the curriculum are expected. Please see an advisor when
