ABOUT US
The Department of History Graduate Student Association (DOHGSA) at
FIU consists of all graduate students and acts as a representative body
for their
interests before the Department and the University. We provide
an institutional venue for the professional development of graduate
students with the goals of facilitating the publication of their work
in the Atlantic
Millennium and the presentation of ongoing research at our annual workshop. We
foster scholarly interaction between professors and students by supporting
lectures, colloquia, and other scholarly programming, and
by promoting social activities that enrich the graduate community. For
